Rio olymic bomb blast near cycling event

A loud blast was heard near the finishing line of the men's cycling road race at the Rio Olympics on Saturday. Bomb squad agents in protective clothing soon arrived near the site.
It later transpired that the bomb squad carried out a controlled explosion of an unattended backpack.
There were no signs of panic or injuries and the race continued, a Reuters witness said. (Agency)
